June 22, 2020-
Crow Tribal Executive has declared a State of Emergency Order (March 14, 2020) and issued an extended Stay at Home Order through July 15, 2020, due to COVID-19. The Legislative Branch issued a public notice regarding the closure of Legislative Branch offices to the public because of CDC recommendations regarding public health and community spaces.
In light of current conditions, the Legislative Branch is extending the notice of closing to the public until such time the Branch can attain compliance with social distancing, temperature checks and temperature logs, mask/face covering, the ability to provide the public with PPE.
As of today, June 22, 2020, the confirmed cases have risen at an alarming rate, five (5) more cases have been confirmed bring the total to sixty-three (63) and three deaths. Big Horn County has verified there is increased transmission within the community, related to exposure and there is growing evidence of transmission from one infected person before the onset of symptoms (pre-symptomatic), or infected people without symptoms (asymptomatic). Crow Tribal Government needs to communicate effectively and provide services to people infected in our communities.
The Legislative Branch has implemented strategies to continue to conduct business with the limited resources available to us while adhering to the Employee Safety and Health policy.

Public Notice regarding Office Closure
public notice re office closed
May 11, 2020-
As a precautionary measure in line with the preventive efforts by the Crow Tribe and Crow Tribal citizens concerning Covid-19, the Legislative Branch will close the office until further notice.
Out of what we hope is an abundance of caution, elected Senators that may have possibly been exposed to Covid-19 will self-quarantine for the suggested fourteen (14) days.
In addition, the Senators would like to encourage individuals that may have inadvertently been exposed take precautionary measures as suggested by the CDC such as self-quarantine and social distancing.
We ask that all tribal citizens take extra care with washing hands and practicing good hygiene. Please be especially mindful of elders, young children and other individuals who may be vulnerable to this disease.
